Anaheim Children’s Art Festival

Saturday, May 17, 2008,  9 AM to 3 PM

Calling all Jammers, Music Lovers, & Kids-at-Heart

Share the joy of traditional music with kids and show our appreciation to Anaheim at the

Center Street Promenade, Downtown Anaheim
Parking & Admission are free!
Fun for your entire family

You can share in a child’s delight  as you help them keep time to music using a shaker or LimberJack.  The children’s smiles will amaze and hearten you.

Just three hours of your help will fill our booth with music and smiling kids and show our appreciation to the generous City of Anaheim.   Plus, you’ll receive two FREE passes to one of our concerts or contra dances (membership in The Living Tradition is not required).

Enjoy free, nearby, covered parking, do several good deeds, and have fun in the shade!

There’s a role for everyone, including you and your family:

  • Musicians:  Here’s a chance to jam for an audience and play favorite childhood tunes.

  • Friends of traditional music & dance:  Distribute our flyers or answer questions.

  • Kids-at-heart:  Survey the 60 art-adventure booths, sample the live entertainment, taste the foods, and test the carnival games (your inner-child will thank you).

This event is kid friendly!  Help kids make their own shaker & keep time to our live traditional music.

Drop-by to help & have fun or contact one of us for details.
